Senior Power Platform & Data Solutions Developer 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking a Senior Power Platform & Data Solutions Developer to join our team and contribute to the enhancement and modernization of enterprise digital solutions. This role is intended for a highly experienced developer capable of operating within a structured multi-environment (Development/Test/Staging/Production) framework and supporting complex data-driven applications. About the Role You will support the ongoing evolution and reliability of a suite of Power Platform and Microsoft 365–based solutions. These products include custom Canvas and Model-Driven applications, automated workflows, dashboards, and integrated data systems supporting critical operational processes. You will be responsible for designing new features, improving stability, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the integrity and security of data across multiple systems. This role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills , as you will collaborate with stakeholders, administrators, and end-users. Responsibilities Power Platform Development Build and enhance Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps . Design, maintain, and optimize Power Automate workflows , including multi-step approval flows integrated with SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Forms. Implement best practices for stability, exception handling, and environment transitions (DTSP). Develop and maintain Dataverse tables, schemas, relationships, and security models . Manage and optimize Microsoft Access databases (queries, forms, reports). Perform ETL processes , data migrations, and cross-system integrations with minimal operational disruption. Analytics & Reporting Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports , including automation of refresh cycles and secure data modelling. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across platforms. Stakeholder Collaboration & Support Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions. Provide training, documentation, and support to administrators and end-users. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data, workflows, performance, and integration. Qualifications Mandatory Experience & Qualifications Technical Experience Candidates must demonstrate at least 4 years of experience (within the last 6 years) in: Connecting flows to SharePoint, Outlook, Forms, Teams A minimum of 4 years of experience working with Power BI or similar visualization tools. Additional Required Skills Experience with Dataverse architecture and schema management Experience with ETL processes and data migration Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Ability to document processes and maintain technical standards Excellent communication and analytical abilities Location: Ottawa, ON — Carling Campus sector On-site: Minimum 3 days per week (mandatory) Standard daytime business hours Security Requirements To work in this role, you must: Hold or be eligible to obtain Reliability Status personnel security clearance Comply with all security protocols, identity verification steps, and background checks Never remove protected information or assets from the worksite If you do not currently hold Reliability Status but are eligible, sponsorship may be possible.
