Overview Rumble is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be a pivotal member of the team that builds and maintains the network infrastructure at the core of the Rumble platform. The candidate should be experienced and skilled in building and supporting a fast-growing, fault-tolerant, high-capacity network. This role requires someone who can work independently as well as part of a team. What you will do Build and support the Rumble network within and between data centers Problem solve complex issues in a multi-vendor network environment Build out network infrastructure at a fast-paced tempo Plan and execute changes to improve performance and stability Document improvements and share knowledge with team members Participate in a on-call rotation, respond to incidents, and communicate network status to the team Occasional travel as needed Required Qualifications 8+ years of relevant network experience Deep experience with service provider L2/L3 protocols (EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, BGP, IS-IS) used in production at scale Solid experience with Linux systems in a production environment Expert troubleshooting experience and ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to create and maintain high-quality network documentation Effective verbal and written communication within a team Willingness to learn, be challenged, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with network automation tools; Ansible a plus Experience with multiple network operating systems (Juniper, Arista, Cisco, etc.) Scripting experience with Python or equivalent Knowledge of anycast and DDoS mitigation strategies Understanding of network security and firewall policy management Experience with high-throughput, low-latency inter-data center connectivity (DWDM, dark fiber) Familiarity with classifying network traffic to prioritize mission-critical traffic Desired Qualifications Past experience with network monitoring tools Comfortable with open-source solutions Compensation CAD base: $121,000-$156,000 + benefits + equity (Canada) or USD base: $149,000-$192,000 + benefits + equity (USA). Note: Salary ranges are a good faith estimate based on experience and internal compensation structure. Actual offers vary by candidate’s skill and experience.
