Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) to help expand and maintain our web-based job submission platform. This role is critical to ensuring scalability, reliability, and security as we grow our quantum computing infrastructure. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in a wide range of software engineering disciplines and has a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Key Responsibilities Design and implement backend services and APIs for our job submission and user management platform. Develop and maintain efficient data transfer objects (DTOs) for high-performance communication. Architect systems that are scalable, maintainable, and secure. Implement monitoring, instrumentation, and deployment pipelines for production systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with quantum computing workflows. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a backend development role. Strong proficiency in Golang and backend development. Experience with systems architecture and API design. Solid understanding of concurrency, thread safety, and performance optimization. Familiarity with monitoring, instrumentation, and deployment best practices. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Nice to Have Experience with OPA (Open Policy Agent) for policy enforcement. Knowledge of Keycloak or similar identity and access management tools. Background in security best practices for backend systems. Exposure to cloud-native environments and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes on Azure). Some experience with frontend development (React, NextJS, etc).
