Lead carrier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management to ensure cost‑effective and reliable shipping. Lead regional shippers and logistics coordinators to deliver consistent execution and operational excellence. Partner with Finance to manage freight budgets, forecasts, and savings initiatives. Trade Compliance & Global Regulations Navigate and interpret tariffs, HS codes, and evolving global trade regulations to ensure compliance and cost optimisation. Oversee customs brokerage, documentation, and regulatory adherence across all lanes. Stay ahead of global trade developments (EU, UK, USMCA, APAC) and assess their impact on cost, lead time, and logistics strategy. Educate internal stakeholders on global trade considerations that affect pricing, fulfilment, and supply‑chain efficiency. Systems, Data & Continuous Improvement Leverage ERP, WMS, and TMS systems to improve automation, visibility, and control. Lead integration and data‑improvement initiatives with internal and external partners. Implement Lean and continuous improvement programs across global logistics operations. Develop analytics and dashboards that drive insight, accountability, and proactive decision‑making.
