Our solutions include EFAP as well as other health and wellness services offered to organizations and the public.****Through their EAP program, clients also have access to career counselling.****We offer a work environment that supports diversity and inclusion, and we are also involved in the community with investments and volunteering.****Role description*** Provide career or employment counselling and coaching to a working adult population, over the phone or through video. Spouses and children are also covered, so we also get requests for teenagers, university students or adults that may be unemployed.* Administer orientation tests and interpret the results to explore career path;* Guide clients through the steps and the choice of effective strategies to adopt to achieve their professional goals* Provide resources and information* EAP clients typically have 3-4 hours of counselling, so we look for candidates that are comfortable with a short term and solution focused approach* We take care of booking new clients in your calendar, and we also manage cancellations and re-booking of new clients when necessary.* Counsellors can see up 6-7 clients per day. Sessions are 50 minutes and the remaining 10 minutes can be used to complete progress notes. Sometimes there are no shows or late cancellations. + Clinical notes are rather brief, no forms or reports to complete. The goal is to identify the issue and describe the intervention plan. + Possible to block time in calendar from time to time to complete clinical notes, but not on a regular basis.* We require the career counsellor to work 3 days and a full day of work is 7.5 paid hours.* Counsellors are required to work 1 evenings per week (11-7pm or 12-8pm Eastern). *For part-time: The number of days can be split into half days if more convenient for you.** Counsellors report to a clinical supervisor with whom they have check ins once a month and who is available on an as needed basis. They also have team meetings twice a month with the other career counsellors.* You would be provided with a computer with integrated phone system. */ Candidate are required to have their own high speed internet access and an office space that is confidential.***Constraints*** Self-referral is not allowed, unless clinically appropriate and approved by RCM* You are not authorized to see clients from another EAP provider while you are salaried with THWe’re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
