Event setup work at Bingemans requires organization, accuracy, and physical readiness across Waterloo Region venues. This seasonal part-time position includes varied shifts and weekends.
Within Bingemans’ Convention Services Team, Event Setup Crew members prepare and restore function rooms and event spaces. The work supports meeting and event operations across a hospitality and entertainment provider. Duties include handling tables, chairs, drapery, decorations, tablecloths, cleaning, stages, moveable walls, and AV equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and tear down rooms according to event orders
- Place tables, chairs, stages, and moveable walls accurately
- Install poles and drapery for trade shows
- Position AV equipment correctly within event spaces
- Return equipment to appropriate storage locations
Requirements:
- Relevant work experience considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability for varied shifts and weekend work
