Senior UX Designer Join the Hive.co team to design impactful solutions that strengthen the connection between artists, shows, and their fanbase. Hive, an email & SMS marketing automation platform, empowers brands to personalize their strategies and drive engagement across event marketing. What does being a Sr UX Designer at Hive look like? As the senior designer on our team, you’ll collaborate with the RND (Research & Development) teams, shaping the user experience from customer discovery through deployment. You’ll work under our VP of Product to drive what we build and how our customers experience it. Responsibilities Be the customer advocate: spend time with our customers, learning how they work and think, and use that insight to shape our design direction. Spearhead customer research and UX testing activities as needed. Design great products: lead brainstorming, create wireframes, build prototypes, and craft mockups for new features and iterative improvements. Work cross-functionally: partner with product and engineering to co‑lead the most impactful pod in our organization, the Product Pod, and collaborate with Front End engineers to ensure high‑quality releases. Own the design backlog and roadmap: tackle UX debt, drive design system enhancements, and propose navigational changes. Contribute to Hive’s startup culture and share in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Qualifications 5+ years as a UX designer on an agile‑ish product development team, from inception to launch. Broad UX skillset across research, concept development, design, and testing. Portfolio of representative work highlighting problem‑solving skills. Ownership and growth mindset to pursue opportunities, invest thoughtfully, and move fast. Strong organization skills and proficiency with Figma, Linear, GitHub, Storybook, etc. AI literacy: comfortable leveraging tools like Claude, Cursor, Loveable, and others and articulating how AI can improve your workflow. Experience building AI features or strong opinions on crafting great AI experiences. Nice to haves A side skill‑set in front‑end development, copy‑writing, or research is an asset but not required. Experience in martech or event‑marketing technology would also be a bonus. How I Show Up Curious mind: deeply understand our product from end to end.
