This job is located 15 minutes from OrleansWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook/team member to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, customer service with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Pizza team member, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and taste, while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen and taking care of customers orders

Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and managing dough.Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of food served.Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.Help maintain inventory levels by reporting shortages or needed supplies to management.Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.Requirements

Previous experience in food service or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.Join our team as a Pizza Cook where your culinary skills will shine, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for our guests

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$19.50 per hour
