Director, Credit Card Operations – Job Summary Join Questrade Financial Group as the Director of Credit Card Operations. In this leadership role, you will build and scale the credit card business, ensuring efficient, customer‑centric processes across the entire card lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy for the credit card portfolio, aligned with corporate objectives. Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all operational functions, driving continuous process improvement. Oversee end‑to‑end card processes from application approval through account setup and card production. Collaborate closely with Fraud Operations to provide a seamless, customer‑friendly dispute experience. Maintain regulatory compliance, implementing effective internal controls, audit processes, and risk mitigation. Manage daily transaction clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and payment posting functions. Lead the chargeback lifecycle, ensuring processes comply with regulatory standards. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for the operations team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 8–12 years of progressive credit card operations experience within a regulated financial institution. Track record of building and leading successful credit card operations teams. Deep knowledge of end‑to‑end credit card lifecycle and related operational processes. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., OSFI guidelines). Experience building credit card operations from the ground up for a new financial institution. Knowledge of Canadian payment systems and regulations. Questrade is an equal opportunity employer.
