Electrical Engineer in Training or Designer We are searching for an Electrical Engineer in Training or Designer to join our Vancouver project team and assist with the design of electrical systems for various buildings. Responsibilities include preparing and modifying design drawings in Revit for power distribution, lighting, emergency power generation, integrated communications systems, and life safety. We’ll be looking for someone who has an interest in pursuing a career in Building Design as an Electrical Engineer in Training. Skills/Abilities Ideally 6 months to 1 year of work experience or Co‑Op/Internship in designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional and/or industrial buildings (required). A completed University Degree or College Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology (required). Certification or eligibility to register with EGBC as an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) is preferred. Demonstrated experience using Revit (preferred). Experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills (required). Ability to problem solve and make timely and well‑thought‑out decisions. Ability to work independently and in a team‑based environment. Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, focused project schedules and meet deadlines. Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle. Travel Little to no travel required.
