Job Description As an expert, you will bring a deep technical mastery of the process and equipment. That expertise allows you to lead the planning, process development and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non‑technical personnel, key support contractors and operations personnel. Responsibilities Partner & Enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets—Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale—for the lines, ensuring process stability; participate in the DMS—Daily Management Systems meetings at the shift and line level. Own the technology, process and center‑line settings for the equipment and process; maintain mastery of the process and equipment; own the PM–Progressive Maintenance systems, work processes and the PM KPI for the line(s) along with Center‑line Management systems; own the R&M—Repairs & Maintenance budget of the line. Develop, own and execute the line(s) preventive and time‑based maintenance systems and plans; build capability of the team to execute themselves; spend at least 50 % of time building technical and maintenance skills of the technicians, so they can operate and maintain equipment themselves; serve as part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work processes at the line level and lead some at the department level. Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; be responsible for Change Management on the line(s), localization of spares and proper breakdown analysis and R&M cost reduction; represent the department/line(s) as the site technology owner in regional and global technology forums. Assist in VSU for new initiatives and enable the VSU team; support the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and re‑application; be subject‑matter expert on one component category and trainer of PM‑related subjects for the plant. Qualifications Advanced knowledge (including AM—Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 systems & Progressive Maintenance Step 3) & skill to maintain the dedicated equipment independently, executing AM & PM standards and TPM Phase 3 & 4 tools. Capability to lead a role for the line; qualify and coach the next level SWP owners; drive opportunity areas across the line in a PDCA approach. Capability to work as the Line Leader, developing and aligning goal/master plan, deploying and managing IDP for members, coaching team members on performance management and career development. Additional Information License to work as mechanic and electrician. Responsible to execute PM task work orders. Responsible to update and improve maintenance work procedures in SAP. Prepare parts BOM for maintenance tasks. Conduct breakdown analysis, find root cause, implement countermeasures. Support operations team for technical knowledge transfers. Generate Kaizen ideas for technical improvement of equipment. Education / Certifications 433A Maintenance Mechanic license. 442A Electrician license. Work Schedule Continental Shift. Compensation The expected annualized salary range is $75,762.00 to $98,124.00 CAD, depending on experience, skills, education and budget. The position is eligible for a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 5 %, potential shift premiums and/or overtime.
