We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Saskatoon. This role is pivotal in bridging Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and other departments to solve manufacturing challenges, drive continuous improvement, and ensure seamless integration of new designs into production. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about process improvement, innovation, and supporting production teams, this could be the role for you Key Responsibilities Lead manufacturing problem‑solving initiatives on the production floor to improve safety, quality, and efficiency Analyze and enhance existing processes, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity (SQDP) Proactively seek out issues, design countermeasures, and ensure implementation Utilize feedback from Quality Metrics to drive continuous improvement Collaborate with Production to implement manufacturability improvements Design, develop, and coordinate the production of jigs and fixtures Liaise with external contractors for outsourcing requirements Create and maintain work instructions in collaboration with key stakeholders Train operators on work instructions and standard work procedures Support the development of new manufacturing processes for product updates and designs Collaborate with Safety and Quality teams as needed Perform other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Process Engineering Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing support or problem‑solving roles Knowledge of jig and fixture design Experience in a team‑based problem‑solving environment Knowledge of electrical design (including PLCs) is an asset Proficiency in MS Office Suite Experience with CAD/CAM software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, SigmaNEST) and design for manufacturability is an asset Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is an asset Strong communication (oral & written) and project management skills Self‑motivated and proactive Critical thinker with keen attention to detail Collaborative team player with a positive attitude Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong sense of urgency and a data‑driven approach Benefits A competitive salary with bonus earning potential including a recruitment referral bonus.
