This Pharmacy Assistant supports Sobeys Inc.’s national pharmacy team across banners including Sobeys, Safeway, and Lawtons Drugs. The work includes prescription processing, refill requests, compounding, pill pack assembly, and clinical service scheduling. Attention to detail supports accurate administrative and pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble prescriptions and complete prescription data entry
- Process transactions by receiving and releasing prescriptions
- Record refill requests and deliveries from customers
- Complete compounding and pill pack assembly
- Schedule professional clinical pharmacy services
Requirements:
- Preferred Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from recognized post-secondary institute
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail in pharmacy tasks
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to adhere to applicable company standards
