_ Global HR is hiring for Operation of Director for our client in QC. _

Under the direction of the General Manager, the incumbent of this position is responsible for implementing daily operations by aligning them with the company's objectives and strategies. It establishes good practices and processes for all operations. He sees to the management of teams and infrastructures and is responsible for the organization and coordination of all of the group's activities.

Tasks :
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the greenhouse production department;
Manage interventions according to annual plant production planning;
Direct and advise employees on product management, safety standards and cost optimization in order to maximize profits for the horticultural division;
Ensure compliance of production procedures and internal regulations;
Ensure continuous improvement of greenhouse production and maintenance processes;
Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate operational performance;
Plan the personnel needs of all greenhouse production, including maintenance personnel;
Administer the maintenance of equipment, greenhouse machinery and other vehicles used on site as well as buildings;
Administer different budgets;
Collaborate with the different departments of the company.

Required Skills :
University degree in administration or operations management
Have knowledge of horticulture and/or perishable plants (ASSET)
Essential bilingualism (French and English); Knowledge of Spanish (ASSET)
Leadership, ability to manage a large team;
Physical fitness (75% field, 25% office)
High availability during peak periods
Ability to use computer systems;
Own an automobile and a valid driver's license;

Sous la direction du Directeur général, le titulaire de ce poste est responsable de mettre en œuvre les opérations quotidiennes en les alignant sur les objectifs et stratégies de l'entreprise. Il établit de bonnes pratiques et processus pour l'ensemble des opérations. Il voit à la gestion des équipes et des infrastructures et est responsable de l'organisation et de la coordination de l'ensemble des activités du groupe.

Tâches :
Planifier, organiser, diriger, contrôler et évaluer les opérations du service de production en serres;
Gérer les interventions selon la planification annuelle de la production des plantes;
Diriger et conseiller les employés sur la gestion des produits, des normes de sécurité et sur l'optimisation des coûts afin de maximiser les profits de la division horticole;
Veiller à la conformité des procédures de production et des règlements internes;
Assurer l'amélioration continue des procédés de production et d'entretien des serres;
Établir et suivre des KPIs pour évaluer la performance opérationnelle;
Planifier les besoins en personnel de toute la production en serres, incluant le personnel de maintenance;
Administrer la maintenance des équipements, des machineries de serres et autres véhicules utilisés sur les lieux ainsi que des bâtiments;
Administrer différents budgets;
Collaborer avec les différents départements de l'entreprise.

Compétences requises :
Diplôme universitaire en administration ou en gestion des opérations
Avoir des connaissances en horticulture et /ou en plantes périssables (ATOUT)
Bilinguisme essentiel (Français et anglais); Connaissance de l'espagnol (ATOUT)
Leadership, capacité à gérer une grande équipe;
Forme physique (75% terrain, 25% bureau)
Grande disponibilité dans les périodes de pointe
Habileté à utiliser les systèmes informatiques;
Posséder une automobile et un permis de conduire valide;
