Apply HVAC/R expertise to commercial and industrial systems as a Technician serving Walmart operations in Calgary, Alberta. Diagnose equipment issues and maintain reliable refrigeration performance.
This HVAC/R Technician installs HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics. The work includes configuring low ambient systems and direct digital controls. You will interpret layout plans and schematics while following applicable HVAC/R regulations and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC and refrigeration systems, ductwork, and control panels
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related system issues
- Maintain rack systems, walk-ins, reach-ins, and supermarket refrigeration
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and routine equipment checks
- Coordinate service calls, work orders, and necessary repairs
Requirements:
- Follow provincial OHS and federal refrigerant-handling requirements
- Comply with TSSA and applicable HVAC/R regulations
- Track refrigerant usage and maintain accurate documentation
- Safely operate heavy machinery and company vehicles
- Work across multiple facilities or distant locations
Support Walmart service operations through HVAC/R diagnostics, preventive maintenance, refrigeration repairs, and compliant refrigerant management in Calgary.
