ABOUT OUR OPERATION The objective of Sanajiksanut is to increase Inuit workforce in all of AEM’s Nunavut operations by contributing to the development of skills and competencies of the Inuit population in the Kivalliq region. The Sanajiksanut Process is composed of different steps to gain employment: Employment Information Session, Online Application, Pre-employment Training, and Employment. In completing these stages, applicants will better prepare themselves for the labour market as well as for a potential job opportunity with AEM or one of its contractors. YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE: We are looking for potential candidates interested in working for the Camp department at both Meadowbank Complex (Agnico Eagle positions) and Meliadine Mine (Contractor positions - Tangmaarvik) . TASKS: Clean rooms (empty garbage, dusting, sweep and wash the floors); Clean camp common areas; Do the laundry; Clean offices, dry/changing rooms, lunch rooms and different work areas; Follow health and safety procedures.
