Job Summary Horticulturist sought to manage and maintain gardens and grounds at a flagship site in Hamilton. The role also involves customer communication and daily record-keeping of job metrics. Responsibilities Manage garden/tree/shrub/turf maintenance Efficiently plan and execute horticultural tasks, including planting, treatment, pruning, and care Handle and transport nursery stock, manage soil and sod tasks and fertilize Assist in turf maintenance if required, track job metrics, and ensure safety compliance Adhere to all company and local regulations Engage courteously with customers and staff at facility Qualifications Completed college or vocational training with Horticulturist or Landscape Gardener Certification 3-5 years’ experience Proficient in plant identification, especially trees and shrubs Ability to interpret blueprints Physically fit with stamina; must be able to lift 50 pounds Skilled in measurement, safety, detail-oriented tasks, problem-solving, and communication Requires working near heavy machinery, outdoors in varying conditions, and flexible hours, including weekends Proficient in English Equal Opportunity Statement Clintar is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and we are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status.
