Monitor CCTV and fire safety systems as a Security Guard at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saskatoon Centre. Support guests, staff, and hotel security during stated shifts.
This position serves the InterContinental Hotel Group property in Saskatoon through visible patrols and careful overnight security practices. The Security Guard monitors alarms, checks doors, responds to guest room access needs, and documents suspicious activity. Clear communication and computer skills support the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure security alarms and CCTV cameras remain functional
- Patrol hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars, and restaurants
- Maintain safety and security for hotel guests
- Handle telephone calls using proper etiquette and greetings
- Evict loiterers or trespassers when necessary
Requirements:
- Availability for night shifts from 11:00pm to 7:00am
- One to two years’ experience in similar or hospitality roles
- Attentive approach with strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or related vocational training preferred
- Pleasant appearance and clear communication abilities
Use CCTV monitoring, patrol, documentation, and guest service skills to maintain secure hotel operations in Saskatoon.
