As a Civil Pipelayer at CapWest, you will be integral to the installation of vital underground utilities, including precise pipe laying, trenching, and collaborating closely with the team. This role demands a solid understanding of civil construction principles and safety standards in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and watermain systems
• Lay pipes, valves, and fittings to specifications
• Prepare trench bottoms and ensure proper compaction
• Work safely in excavations with shoring systems
• Connect manholes, hydrants, and other utilities
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in civil pipeline work
• Strong understanding of civil drawings and pipe materials
• Knowledge of trench safety and installation practices
• Experience with deep utilities preferred
• Detail-oriented and capable of teamwork
