Prepare meat and deli products while delivering customer service at Walmart Canada’s Northgate Centre location in Edmonton. Maintain clean, stocked, customer-ready displays daily.
As a Meat Associate, you support department organization, daily sales activities, and a fresh shopping experience. You prepare meat, cheese, and fried chicken using slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers. You also follow pricing procedures, food safety standards, and cold chain practices while serving customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the meat department clean, organized, zoned, and stocked
- Rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products
- Prepare deli orders and fill display cases
- Check temperatures and follow cold chain procedures
- Complete pricing, signing, labeling, and markdown procedures
Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Follow food safety, health, safety, and company policies
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Stand, bend, and complete repetitive stocking tasks
- Lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50
