Oversees the preparation and management of financial forecasts, budgets, and comprehensive quarterly and annual financial reports. Lead and manage all aspects of the finance portfolio for company education group, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, external audit requirements and financial best practices. Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks to protect organizational assets and ensure sustainability. Identify, design, and implement improvements to financial systems, business processes, policies and administrative workflows to enhance efficiency. Champion and drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial operations, ensuring adaptability and innovation. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities. Establish, maintain, and enforce rigorous financial accountability standards across the organization. Other duties as required. About You University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. CPA designation is required. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, experience in higher education is preferred. Proven leadership skills, experience in team building, leading change and adapting to new technologies. Strong computer skills including Financial Information Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and discretion when necessary and keep confidential highly sensitive information; highly developed and effective problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within strict timeline constraints; proven ability to respond to frequently changing priorities; demonstrated time management and organizational skills. A positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in working within an educational environment.
