Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dartmouth, NS, for a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Building System Design. The role involves designing and developing electrical systems for buildings, including power distribution, lighting, communication systems, fire alarms, and security systems. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead junior staff on a multitude of projects, oversee design documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications Proficiency in Electrical Design requirements of Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, MURB and Retail buildings Must have an in‑depth knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and its application in building systems Proven ability to manage complex projects and work in collaborative team environments Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Familiarity with energy‑efficient building technologies and codes Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills Experience with electrical engineering software tools and applications (Autocad, Revit, AGI32 Lighting Design Software and SKM Power System Software) considered an asset Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Utilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
