Technical Artist (Tools) - EA SPORTS Technology Overview: EA SPORTS Technology is hiring a Technical Artist (Tools) to join Sport Tech. As a Technical Artist, you will implement efficient, high-quality content production workflows, technologies, and visuals for our SPORTS Shared Initiatives, focusing on tooling, pipelines, systems, optimizations, and integrations with other production systems. Your Responsibilities Develop tools, pipelines, systems, optimizations, and integrations with other production systems. Own assigned areas: understand requirements, develop solutions or prototypes, and resolve technical issues during development. Collaborate with Technical Artists, Artists, game teams, and Sports Tech central teams. Your Qualifications At least 4+ years of cinematic/games production experience. Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in a related field. Effective at communicating with artists, engineers, and managers. Proficient scripting/programming in Python and C# (C++ a bonus). Expert knowledge of 2D/3D art packages (Maya, Photoshop, Houdini). Solutions provider for meeting quality targets within technical constraints; experience with asset optimization challenges. Willingness to jump into unknowns and solve new problems; creative thinking to resolve technical challenges. Pay offers are determined based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, and business needs. British Columbia: CAD 100,000 - 139,500 In British Columbia, benefits include vacation, sick time, parental leave top-up, extended health/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, retirement plan, and potential bonus/equity for some roles.
