Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review account reconciliations, conducting detailed variance analytics.
  • Record various journal entries, encompassing month-end entries, eliminations, intercompany transactions, etc.
  • Review and approve journal entries prepared by junior staff members.
  • Execute month-end and quarter-end closing procedures efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team in the US during month-end and quarter-end close, conducting thorough result reviews.
  • Contribute to the design and preparation of corporate financial statements and supplementary disclosures.
  • Generate and analyze financial statements and additional financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in establishing new joint ventures and securitization transactions, as applicable.
  • Enhance and document month-end procedures and workbooks to elevate the precision of financial reporting.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional growth.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.


Requirements

  • Must hold a CPA designation or be actively pursuing CPA certification.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of industry or firm experience, with preference given to candidates with public audit experience.
  • Familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Preferred experience with consolidation and elimination entries.
  • Knowledge of residential real estate would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrates initiative and thrives in an independent, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and upholds high standards for work quality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude toward learning and development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
