Overview Member of Technical Staff - Cloud Engineer (Analytics). At Wind River, we use analytics tools such as Elasticsearch and Kibana to accelerate the development of solutions that allow our customers to visualize their networks and act on issues. We have adopted these technologies into Wind River Cloud Analytics. The growth of this product drives us to find experienced and high-performing individuals that can learn and contribute to these analytics solutions. The right candidate will possess proven software engineering skills. You are expected to be versatile and thrive in a dynamic environment. You are comfortable managing competing priorities and can bring order to ambiguous scenarios. Maturity, impeccable judgment, and the ability to influence and lead are essential to success in this role. Responsibilities Develop Analytics features with high-quality design and code. Develop test automation as required to deliver high quality code. Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration. Work as part of a team focused on building world-class analytics solutions. Participate in all aspects of the software development process, plan, design, develop and test, using agile development. Qualifications Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Science or related field. Overall 10+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years of programming experience with Python. 3+ years working directly with the ELK stack. 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems. Experience with containers and cloud-based technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes(k8s), and Helm. Preferred Qualifications Six or more years of professional experience building infrastructure software for highly scalable and distributed systems. Track record of building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems. Expertise in Python, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack. Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
