Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic individual to lead the delivery of person-centered care in a rural community setting. This pivotal role provides leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, and respectful care services. As Manager of Resident Care, you’ll inspire and support the AML team while building strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders. You’ll champion recruitment, training, and retention, build strong community partnerships, and oversee resources and quality initiatives. With active licensure, you’ll also step in when needed to provide hands-on care. Responsibilities Lead the delivery of person-centered care in a rural community setting. Provide leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality and respectful care services. Inspire and support the AML team and build strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders. Champion recruitment, training, and retention; oversee resources and quality initiatives. Maintain active licensure and provide hands-on care when needed. Qualifications Essential qualifications Current license in good standing with a Canadian nursing regulatory body. Significant clinical nursing experience including direct supervision of health care professionals. Demonstrated relevant and recent leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in long-term or residential care (e.g., HR management, program evaluation, stakeholder engagement). Experience in rural/northern setting is considered an asset.
