Job Type Full Time, Permanent Shift Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM Compensation Commensurate with experience About the Company Our client is a utility contractor focused on three main operations, Electrical, Civil Construction and Engineering & Design. They are growing at a rapid rate and are looking to add a Construction Recruiter to their team Responsibilities Full cycle recruitment for union and nonunion roles Onboarding and Offboarding Maintaining employee database Facilitating new worker orientation sessions Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing human resources policies and procedures in accordance with the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and other relevant legislation, conducting Maintains employee benefit programs and informs employees of benefits, recommending Ensure that all employee files have the most current information and training documentation by ensuring all employee databases and spreadsheets are cohesive Support departmental managers with various projects and assignments on an as needed basis Other duties assigned Requirements Completion of Post-Secondary degree 3+ years of experience as a recruiter, construction background is an asset Advanced knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and other applicable legislation Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) considered an asset All applicants please forward your resume to be considered.
