Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr What You Will Do As a Staff Software Engineer, you will shape the technical direction and architecture of our software platform. You will lead the design and development of complex systems, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation through new technologies and frameworks. Your Passion Passionate about crafting exceptional software, you design with elegance, extensibility, and maintainability as guiding principles. Your Skills Renowned as one of the most productive engineers, you continuously improve, innovate, and deliver features swiftly in a continuous delivery model. Meticulous, you advocate unit testing, continuous integration, and elegant solutions, eliminating technical debt while refactoring code. Collaboration Eager to collaborate through pair programming, you review code, provide actionable feedback, and focus on product and user experience. You actively engage with customers, articulating feature rationale and pain points for engineers. The Tech Stack React, TypeScript, Tailwind for pixel‑perfect frontend applications Kotlin, Node.js, GraphQL for backend development and debugging across the stack Databases, distributed computing, and cloud platforms; proficiency in at least one of these technologies Your Drive Driven by a desire for impact beyond individual contributions, you work seamlessly across boundaries to benefit the product and its users. You proactively seek feedback, maintain open communication about growth opportunities with managers and colleagues. Requirements Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field Have at least 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a solid record of designing and building complex systems Possess expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript Expertise in building large React applications Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices Experience with databases such as Postgres or MySQL Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross‑functional teamwork Benefits Competitive salary plus bonus incentives $170,000 USD base salary Salary range for US‑based; local adjustments for other countries Internet and mobile phone reimbursements Generous home office allowance The best co‑workers (we’ve analyzed the data, so we know it’s true.)
