Position Overview Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) invites applications for a full‑time Pediatric & Perinatal Anatomical Pathologist (1.0 FTE). The position will become vacant on January 19 2026. The successful applicant will be a member of both CHEO and EORLA and will provide paediatric anatomical pathology, including perinatal, placental pathology, and autopsy services, as well as on‑call duties. Key Responsibilities Provide paediatric anatomical pathology perinatal, placental and autopsy services. Provide on‑call services to CHEO. Contribute to clinical, scholarly and educational activities and participate in undergraduate, graduate and residency training programmes. Engage in collaborative and autonomous research with the University of Ottawa and the CHEO Research Institute. Basic Requirements MD and Fellowship in Anatomical Pathology/Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent). Eligible for licensure in Ontario. Pediatric Pathology Fellowship training or equivalent experience. Eligible for an academic appointment in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Ottawa; rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Completion of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check dated within six (6) months of issue. Proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination; accommodation considered for medically or legally protected reasons. Salary and Benefits Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Uniform Minimum Level of Compensation (UMLC) for laboratory physicians in Ontario.
