Lead retail operations with Shoppers Drug Mart as an Assistant Front Store Manager, supporting store standards, staffing, and customer experience. Improve product flow from backroom to sales floor.
This Assistant Front Store Manager supports the Front Store Manager in managing human, physical, and financial resources. The work focuses on achieving store objectives through product flow, effective scheduling, and adequate staffing. You will maintain standards, control expenses, and support hiring across departments excluding Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Store Standards across sales floor and backroom
- Support labour scheduling through Work Force Management
- Ensure staffing levels effectively operate the business
- Support hiring for departments excluding Pharmacy
- Lead staff through Blue Culture and Core Values
Requirements:
- Previous retail management experience
- Planning, judgement, and decision-making skills
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Leadership, mentorship, coaching, and communication skills
- Business and financial acumen
