About The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven student to support strategic decision-making within the Human Resources function of a leading financial institution. As an HR Data Analytics Co-op, you’ll work with real employee data, HR metrics, and business insights that influence workforce planning, engagement, and talent strategies. About The Day-to-Day Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating HR data from multiple systems and sources Prepare dashboards and reports focused on workforce demographics, turnover, recruitment metrics, and diversity analytics Collaborate on data visualization projects to enhance stakeholder understanding Support the annual and quarterly reporting cycles through data analysis and preparation Participate in projects related to HR process optimization and business performance tracking Monitor data integrity across HR platforms and help conduct data audits Contribute to research on people trends and workforce benchmarking Assist in documenting methodologies and ensuring consistent application of data definitions About The Qualifications Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in Business Analytics, Human Resources, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting data-driven insights Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines Understanding of HR metrics and workforce KPIs Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or SAP preferred Prior experience in data analysis or business intelligence coursework or internships preferred About Us Peoples Group is a boutique financial institution with offices located in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal that has been in the Canadian marketplace for over 35 years. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.
