Location: Montreal, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid Responsibilities Engineer, design, develop and test new electronic hardware at the forefront of technology. Support and enhance existing embedded hardware. Apply established development processes and assist in process improvement. Analyze requirements, research and identify solutions and develop the design. Generate complete and accurate user and design documentation. Provide input to architecture and design reviews. Provide input and evaluation of new technologies and products. Keep current with embedded hardware trends and share knowledge. Contribute to the release of manufacturing technical data packages for products. Participate in maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere within the team. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. Strong electronics hardware product design and development experience. Experience with PCB design and hardware product design. Familiarity with a product development process. Familiarity with hardware test equipment — logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. Familiarity with principles of high‑speed digital circuit board design including signal integrity concepts. Requirements capture, analysis, and tracking. Hobby projects with Raspberry Pi and/or Arduino. Familiarity with FPGAs.
