It’s an exciting time to join the team at Hydro One Our Marketing & Communications team is responsible for managing and building Hydro One’s brand internally and externally, while ensuring effective communication with our customers, communities, and stakeholders. This co‑op position will support brand initiatives and campaign development, with opportunities to collaborate closely with both the social and digital teams. General Accountabilities Support End-to-End Campaign Management: Assist in planning, developing, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns to ensure seamless delivery and impactful results. Create and Edit Marketing Content: Develop, review, and refine marketing materials, including newsletters, social media posts, and other promotional assets. Act as a Key Liaison: Serve as the bridge between the marketing team and internal/external stakeholders, including cross‑functional departments and agency partners. Collaborate on Strategic Plans: Work closely with team members to design and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies that align with organizational goals. Facilitate Team Coordination: Organize and schedule meetings, take comprehensive notes, and follow up on actionable items to ensure progress and accountability. Ensure Timely Project Delivery: Coordinate with teams to monitor deadlines, track progress, and deliver projects on schedule. Additional Responsibilities Take on other duties as needed to contribute to the team’s success. Selection Criteria Strong Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with diverse teams. Strong Organizational and Planning Skills: Demonstrated ability to stay organized, plan ahead, and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Committed and Collaborative: A team player who is aligned with Hydro One’s values and goals and contributes positively to a collaborative work environment. Relationship Builder: Able to work effectively in a project‑based environment, building strong partnerships with colleagues and external stakeholders. Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Post‑Graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
