We're seeking a talented backend software engineer with STRONG data skills to join our Ads Conversion Signals team, a group of innovative and collaborative engineers dedicated to growing the quantity and quality of off-platform conversion signals while prioritizing user privacy. As a KEY player on our team, you'll have the opportunity to use your data skills to guide the team’s future direction such as the evolution of key products such as Signals Quality and Signals Anomaly Detection. The ideal candidate would also get involved in helping us evolve our data pipeline to the next level or the flexibility of working on other types of projects that would improve advertiser setup. Why This Role Matters: As a member of our Ads Conversion Signals team, you'll be instrumental in helping advertisers succeed on Reddit, while also ensuring that our users' privacy is respected. The team would like to get your guidance based on your understanding of the data. Your work will have a direct impact on the growth and success of our Ads business, and you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. Responsibilities: Independently identify opportunities based on our data and drive the evolution of our products that would help improve the quality of our conversion data. Lead the development of advertiser facing products along with a group of frontend and backend engineers that would improve both the quality as well as quantity of our conversions data using cutting-edge technologies. Be a thought partner of your leadership as well as XFNs while contributing towards the development of key projects such as signals quality and signals anomaly detection. Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including product managers, data scientists, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our stakeholders' needs. Take ownership of your work, from concept to delivery, and ensure that your solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet the highest standards of quality and performance Continuously learn and grow with our team, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development. In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
