Position Summary: The Business Data Analyst at Business Geeks is responsible for both analyzing business processes and conducting complex data analysis to improve overall operations, influence decision-making, and enhance business efficiency. This role focuses on leveraging data as a strategic asset, helping the organization make more informed decisions by extracting insights from complex data sets and translating them into actionable business strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and turn them into data-driven solutions.
  • Gather, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that influence business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of business initiatives.
  • Use statistical tools and methodologies to analyze data and produce clear reports that can be understood by non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data collection procedures and improve data governance and accuracy.
  • Assist in the implementation of new data analysis methodologies and data systems integration.
  • Communicate findings to management through visual presentations and detailed reports.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Statistics, Data Science, or related field. Holding a graduate degree in a related field is considered a significant asset.
  • Significant Experience in design dashboards as react component with D3.
  • Significant experience in data analysis and business analysis.
  • Significant experience with data visualization and analytical tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in predictive analysis and advanced data modeling techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
