Electrical Engineering Lead

Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineering Manager will oversee the electrical engineering team. Key Responsibilities Corporate Ensure that the company establishes and applies best engineering practices in its normal business operations. Participate in the evolution and development of internal tools or the deployment of external tools to optimize productivity and efficiency, ensuring the company remains competitive with its peers. Promote professional development and a corporate culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and productivity. Identify staffing needs and participate in recruitment, training, and employee evaluations. Establish and monitor budgets for departmental projects. Engineering and Projects Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical engineering activities. Candidate Profile Qualifications University degree (Bachelor’s) in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field. Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the mining or energy industry. Technical Skills Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project. Fluency in spoken and written French and English. Knowledge of another language, especially Spanish, is an asset. Interpersonal and Personal Skills Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and critical mindset. Good organizational skills. Autonomy, initiative, and effective priority management. Collaborative attitude and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong adaptability. Working Conditions Hybrid work environment: office and remote (2 to 3 days per week in the office). Performance bonus.
