Business Systems Analyst with AML Technologies Join to apply for the Business Systems Analyst with AML Technologies role at Scotiabank Requisition ID: AML Technology is seeking an Advisory Technical Business Analyst for the AML Tech Data Development Team. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to be involved in projects, BAU, and technical initiatives. Responsibilities Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment of both functional and non‑functional requirements and determining high level work efforts Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders and translate those to technical requirements for the developers Help improve and drive best practices by providing valuable inputs and suggestions as to what works well and what can be done better Contribute to a collaborative team environment by information sharing and team cooperation Skills 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a challenging IT system solution environment Comfortable with relational databases, SQL queries, data mappings and data analysis Ideally, an Engineering or Computer Science degree with strong communication and problem‑solving skills Nice to have: Fi/Baking/AML experience, knowledge of Hadoop, Google Cloud Services, Agile and DevOps team experience Workplace Technology partners who help the business transform how our employees around the world work Inclusive and collaborative working environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success Work with and learn from diverse industry leaders who have hailed from top technology companies worldwide Environment of innovation and continuous learning Care about our people, allowing them to design how they work to deliver amazing results Competitive total rewards package, including a performance bonus, company matching programs (on pension & profit sharing), and generous vacation Location Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
