Job Description Develops and maintains technical solutions that adhere to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements. Provides technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security; includes planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards. What You Will Do Define, engineer, and design Enterprise‑wide Absolute platforms and their corresponding management policies Define, engineer, and design support and control mechanisms for all such platforms including endpoint policy Assess and select product capabilities and features, ensuring multiple technologies are not providing overlapping capabilities, driving down technology complexity and cost reductions Create high‑level design documents, including estimated hardware, detailed program specifications, and resourcing costs Interface with security controls and risk teams Provide third‑level consultation requests and support Required Skills and Experience Experience implementing and managing Absolute Endpoint software Deep internal knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, especially Windows 10/11 Working experience and knowledge of hardware asset management standards Advanced scripting skills and knowledge of Windows PowerShell Advanced knowledge of group policy management Deep knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) related to Windows Build Automation and task sequence management Experience with endpoint digital experience monitoring tools for Windows devices (nexthink, systrack, controlup, DEX, etc.) Experience with Microsoft Intune, Office 365 and Azure Experience with modern Remote Access VPN solutions 10+ years of experience Desired Knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, Azure AD Programming languages including C++, C#, .NET Framework, Visual Studio IDE Knowledge of Enterprise Mobility Management solutions, both Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management Experience with macOS and Linux operating systems Familiarity with RESTful web‑based APIs Education BS in computer science or a related field Key Accountabilities Customer Leverage deep technology expertise to deliver and ensure tools, processes and documentation across the organization enable effective execution of mandates Execute on engineering strategy for tools and automation of build, test, release and configure activities across application, platform and infrastructure Partner with the operations team to integrate tools and processes into automated/self‑serve releases Work with partners across technology to identify synergies and apply in‑depth business understanding Act as the expert or lead innovator and agent of change for programs and services under management Work with other teams to implement best practices for engineering and management Work with vendor platform providers and engineering peers to stay abreast of trends, products, frameworks and applications Identify and manage stakeholder engagement and impacts across the enterprise Interpret client needs, assess engineering related requirements and identify solutions to non‑standard requests Shareholder Apply best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services in own discipline Monitor and control costs within own work May interact with governance and control groups to provide subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues related to engineering technology and tools May develop and/or contribute to negotiations of third‑party contracts/agreements Maintain knowledge of external developments, engineering and emerging solutions and market conditions Proactively identify emerging technologies and innovative solutions for building more robust platform domains Employee / Team Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with emerging industry trends, new technologies and best practices in the external market that can contribute to delivering effective client solutions Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues Participate in knowledge transfer with senior management, the team, other technical areas and business units Work effectively as a team, supporting other members of the team in achieving business objectives and providing client services Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team Breadth & Depth Expert knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues Expert knowledge of TD applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business/organization, bank standards, and may fulfill a governance role Expert knowledge and experience in own discipline;
