This position supports the development, promotion, and lifecycle management of Accuenergy’s metering, residual current transformer (RCT), and ground fault detection product lines. The role requires strong technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, and marketing teams. Duties and Responsibilities Deliver technical designs for projects of varying complexity that could involve technical complexity Assists in creating project plans, participates in project planning and project management meetings and provides improvement recommendations to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met Create production instruction documents (AutoCAD drawings, Assembly Work Instructions, etc) Instruct and supervise manufacturing workflow following product design and quality control requirements Troubleshooting and solving any electrical system errors Providing input over the design and development of equipment designs as they progress through the structural design process Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of electrical generation and distribution networks, electrical machinery and components and electronic communications, instrumentation and control systems, equipment, and components Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for electrical and electronic systems and equipment Design electrical and electronic circuits, components, systems and equipment Conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modeling and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment Investigate electrical or electronic failures Documentation & Communication Prepare accurate technical documentation. Present complex electrical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to user manuals and compliance documentation related to products. Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations. Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.(Required) Experienced in electrical instrumentation, energy metering, or protection systems is a must. Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, control systems, and electronics. Ability to perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Background in metering, power distribution, automation, or electronics is preferred for certain industries. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication abilities (verbal and written). Ability to work cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams. Attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
