Key Responsibilities Engagement Management Lead compilation engagements across a portfolio of clients, particularly in high‑growth industries including crypto and technology. Lead and/or prepare tax engagements – corporate (T2), personal (T1), trust (T3), HST returns and liabreed a CRA audit matters. Supervise and review work performed by staff; provide coaching and technical guidance throughout the engagement lifecycle. Execute compilations in accordance with CAS and applicable standards such as ASPE. Manage deadlines, budgets, and staff allocations across multiple concurrent engagements. Client Service & Technical Expertise Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and resolution of technical issues. Provide practical, solutions‑oriented advice to owner‑managed business 마음과 personal clients. Review and finalize engagement files, working papers, and financial statements, ensuring compliance with firm standards and quality management system. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work culture. Deliver real‑time feedback and support the professional growth of team members through formal and informal coaching. Direct mentorship with Partners. Participate in internal training initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Help identify business development opportunities through excellent client service. Qualifications Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a Canadian public accounting firm (mandatory). Strong technical understanding of ASPE, CAS (mandatory) and US GAAP/IFRS. Previous experience with Canadian corporate taxes. Proficient with CaseWare, TaxPrep iFirm, and advanced Excel. Commitment to exceptional client service, integrity, and continuous learning. Ability to influence teams and clients positively, leading by example. Ability to establish and maintain strong client and team relationships. Strong project management skills and organisational ability. Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously. Ability to recognise accounting and tax issues and work with the team to boot problematic issues. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability. Ability to perform technical research and reach, evaluate and document conclusions. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
