Key Responsibilities As the Personal Lines Insurance Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored insurance solutions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include: Client Consultation and Policy Development: Engage with clients to assess their personal insurance needs, providing expert advice on suitable coverage options. Develop and present personalized insurance policies that align with clients\' requirements and financial considerations. Policy Management and Client Support: Oversee the administration of new policies, renewals, and adjustments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, processing claims, and maintaining accurate records. Sales and Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand the client base through referrals, networking, and community engagement. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following: Education & Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred. Level 1 BC General Insurance Licence required, Level 2 preferred. 2-3 years of experience in personal lines insurance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards. Key Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
