QA Engineer – AI Augmented Job ID: 84990Location: Vancouver, British Columbia What you will be doing: Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts. Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks with a focus on efficiency and scalability. AI Integration: Work closely with developers to integrate AI-driven testing methodologies into the software development lifecycle. Project Management: Use JIRA and other bug‑tracking software to manage test plans and report issues effectively. Innovation: Continuously evaluate and incorporate new automation tools and practices to enhance testing effectiveness. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging AI and QA technologies and methodologies. What you must have: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. QA Experience: Proven experience in QA engineering with a strong background in test automation. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Jenkins) and scripting languages such as Node, Python, or JavaScript. Tooling: Extensive experience with JIRA for project management and Zephyr (or similar) for test planning. Testing Scope: Demonstrated experience testing Native and Web Frontends as well as Backend APIs. Adaptability: Proven ability to learn new technologies, particularly AI and machine learning applications within QA. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
