Role Overview We’re looking for a talented Platform Engineer who thrives on tackling challenging problems in payroll and HR technology. You’ll build and maintain internal platforms and tooling that enable our application teams to deliver faster, safer, and more confidently. You will report directly to our Platform Engineering Manager. What You'll Own Build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes. Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for secure, efficient deployments. Create real-time observability tools, such as monitoring dashboards and alert systems. Provide engineers with self-service tools, documentation, and templates. Embed security best practices into infrastructure and pipelines. Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure platform usability. Contribute to design discussions and advocate for platform standards and best practices. Participate in an on‑call rotation. What You Bring 5+ years of software industry experience, with 2+ in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE. Deep knowledge of cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS a plus), Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools. Expertise in security practices, IAM, networking, and cost optimization. Experience with observability systems, logging, monitoring, and tracing. Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams. Agile development experience and willingness to participate in on‑call rotation. Bonus Points If You hold Azure and/or AWS certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer). You have worked in high‑scale SaaS environments focused on developer enablement. You have built self‑service internal tools or contributed to developer productivity platforms.
