Develop and govern API strategies to enable seamless interoperability between banking systems, fintech vendors, regulatory platforms, and customer‑facing applications. Lead the integration of third‑party vendor tools (e.g., document management, business management processes) into the enterprise ecosystem, ensuring alignment with security and compliance standards. Architect document management workflows that support regulatory requirements, audit trails, and digital transformation of paper‑based processes. Re‑engineer legacy business management processes into modern, automated, and data‑driven workflows using BPM tools and integration platforms. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including business analysts, developers, compliance officers, and external partners to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Ensure architectural compliance with financial industry regulations (e.g., PCI‑DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, OSFI guidelines) and internal governance frameworks. Maintain architectural documentation, integration maps, and data‑flow diagrams to support transparency, scalability, and knowledge sharing across teams. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on integration and middleware in financial services. Proven experience with API management platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, Azure API Management). Hands‑on experience with document management systems and workflow automation tools. Deep understanding of financial services operations, compliance requirements, and integration patterns. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence technical and business decision‑making. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid architectures. Familiarity with BPM tools (e.g., Camunda, Appian, Pega). Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and financial data standards (e.g., ISO 20022). Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or PMP are a plus.
