About the Job

We are looking for a sales professional who is resident in the Vancouver, BC area that has creativity, energy, inspires teamwork and collaboration, an outgoing personality, an interest in investments, the ability to simplify and communicate complex investment concepts, and a strong work ethic.


What you will do:


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SVP, Sales on executing best practices and optimal territory management;
  • Design and implement business plan for ETF sales campaigns with concise management reporting of activities and sales;
  • Activities include booking and conducting meetings, expense reporting and travel scheduling;
  • Meetings include one on one, group and branch presentations, roadshows, social activities with advisors in the IIROC dealer channel;
  • Nurture existing clients and develop strong ongoing relationships with new prospects and top advisors; and
  • Participate in weekly sales calls for territory overview, identify key opportunities and action plan for closing sales.


Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Communication of fund features, performance and PM views to investors and advisors;
  • Assist with the development of marketing documents in support of our product suite;
  • Communicate feedback from meetings that contribute to the development of potential new product investments;
  • Liaise with contacts in the investment advisor community to obtain market intelligence;
  • Provide input for the development of documentation supporting new products;
  • Provide recommendations for the ongoing development of the company’s website; and
  • Participate in other projects and tasks as required.


Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of outside wholesaling experience in the investment funds industry with comprehensive knowledge of ETFs
  • Deep relationship with IIROC advisors and a strong understanding of dealer platforms
  • High level of motivation and energy with a desire to be proactive in generating activity and sales
  • Experience in Salesforce or similar contact management system is a must
  • Experience with IIROC advisors strongly preferred (ETFs or mutual funds)
  • BComm, CIM/CFA or other similar qualifications are a plus

Location:

  • Applicants must reside in the immediate vicinity of Vancouver, British Columbia and must be prepared to travel regularly within the province.
  • Position to be filled immediately.
  • Salary range of $100,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
