Sunwapta Falls Jasper Public Area & Housekeeping Attendant
Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge, Jasper, Alberta – Full‑time seasonal position through mid‑October 2026. We are a seasonal property with positions only available until mid‑October 2026 and currently do not have any LMIA spots for international applicants.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in public areas including the restaurant and gift shop.
- Clean and sanitize public washrooms – sinks, toilets, and floors – and restock soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Assist housekeepers in the morning by removing all dirty linen and garbage from guests’ rooms the night before.
- Make beds on busy days to assist housekeepers if needed.
- Clean and sanitize the staff kitchen.
- Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
- Assist with laundry or other cleaning tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required; we will train the right candidates.
- Willingness to work outside.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
Compensation
Wage: $17 per hour plus bonuses. Staff accommodation: 4.41 CAD per day for employees over 18. Completion bonus: $1 per hour worked plus a rent‑covering bonus if the contract is completed. Referral bonus: $500 if both your and your referral’s contracts are completed.
