The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and managing financial aid programs, scholarships, and grants for our students. The role requires a thorough understanding of federal and provincial financial aid regulations and policies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Administer and manage financial aid programs, scholarships, and grants for students Provide information and guidance to students on financial aid options and requirements Assist students with completing financial aid applications and documents Monitor and maintain accurate records of financial aid awards and disbursements Ensure compliance with federal and provincial financial aid regulations and policies Collaborate with admissions and academic departments to coordinate financial aid services with student enrollment and course selection Analyze and evaluate financial aid data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving financial aid programs Prepare financial aid reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and other stakeholders Requirements and Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience working in similar role. Strong understanding of OSAP policies and procedures, including an Understanding of financial aid regulations and compliance requirements. Attention to detail is crucial for accurately processing financial aid applications and maintaining records. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Proficiency in using relevant computer applications and databases for financial aid processing and reporting. A strong background in sales and/or customer service can add to the role.
