JOB SCOPE As a pilot flying for Pivot Airlines out of our Kitchener Waterloo base, the CRJ First Officer is responsible for assisting the Captain in the safe operation of the aircraft while providing customer service and giving on-time performance due consideration. The CRJ First Officer is second-in-command during the flight and will assume control when directed by the Captain. The CRJ First Officer is responsible to the Chief Pilot. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for assisting the Captain with the safe and efficient operation of Company aircraft. Assist the Captain to ensure all pre-flight, inflight and post-flight duties are completed safely consistent with published Transport Canada regulations and standards as well as Company policies and procedures. Assist the Captain to ensure that all crew members perform their flight duties consistent with published Transport Canada regulations and standards as well as Company policies and procedures. Any other responsibilities and duties assigned by the Captain during flight. Any other responsibilities and duties assigned by the Chief Pilot. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1500 Hours Total Time Must hold Transport Canada Commercial CPL Must hold Transport Canada Category I Medical Certificate Able to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance Legally entitled to work in Canada Able to operate Company aircraft domestically, trans-border and internationally without restriction (supporting documents required) Aviation diploma/degree an asset Must be fluent in English language Effective communication and problem solving skills Strong leadership and teamwork skills Flexible and willing to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends Ability to lift up to 50lbs Frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling. Restrictions Must hold Transport Canada Licence, Medical Must have legal right to live/work in Canada No Foreign Pilot Visas or Sponsorships PLEASE RE-READ the Experience & Citizenship Rules before applying.
