Read on to find out if this is the next step in your career Ideal Candidate 3-5 years as a purchasing professional. Has obtained or is working towards their APICS, SCMP, CSCP, CPIM or equivalent designation. Proven experience maintaining inventory levels and operating supplies. Experience in a safety-sensitive, 24-hour manufacturing environment. Strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills , combined with a can-do attitude. A good understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), preferably JD Edwards and Coupa is an asset. Experience managing a team. In this role you will Analyze costs, select suppliers, and negotiate contracts for the mill. Lead your team to make sure parts, materials and services are procured on time, at the right price, and with the right quality, and quantity. Oversee material and operating supplies inventory. Oversee inventory analysis, plan and execute optimization plans. Support the team in finding creative solutions to meet business needs . Oversee the work order system enabling you to keep kitting turning over. What’s in it for you? You’ll take on an exciting challenge with supportive team members . You'll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience, plus an additional northern allowance. The expected base salary range for this position is $80,250 to $107,000 per year. You will earn an additional northern allowance on top of your base pay. You will be eligible to participate in Tolko’s bonus program.
