Serve event patrons at Calgary's Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts using beverage service and Clover payment skills. This flexible schedule varies.
As a Bartender within Events, Theatre and Event Services, you will support Bar & Concession services at Taylor Centre and other MRU campus venues. The work includes public and private events, with shifts lasting three to thirty-five hours weekly. You will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, confections, and patrons while working with the Head Bartender and Bar & Event Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with pre-service stocking, inventory, and cleaning
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at events
- Serve confections to public and private event patrons
- Collect payments using Clover pin-pad terminals
- Complete post-service cleaning and close-up checklists
Requirements:
- Availability for flexible weekday or weekend shifts
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Hospitality or customer service experience is desirable
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ProServe certification, or completion within 30 days
Bring beverage service, customer service, and payment skills to MRU events as a Taylor Centre Bartender.
